HTTP Toolkit is an open-source tool for debugging, testing, and building with HTTP. It lets developers capture HTTP(S) traffic with zero setup, inspect and search requests, pause and edit live traffic, and send custom requests — all from a single interface.
It's built for backend developers, QA engineers, API testers, and anyone building or debugging HTTP-based applications. It is NOT designed for non-technical users or for large-scale enterprise monitoring without additional configuration.
Use it to intercept traffic from Android/iOS apps, Docker containers, browser windows, or backend processes (Node.js, Java, Python, Ruby). Developers debug API calls, simulate error responses, analyze compression and caching, or mock server behavior without deploying changes.

HTTP Toolkit pricing: Free open-source / Pro from $0/mo. Billing model: Freemium.
Open-source core: Intercept all clients, inspect raw HTTP data, filter sessions, rewrite traffic manually, send custom HTTP requests. No automated rules, no supercharged debugging tools, no import/export.
Adds automated rules (mock responses, transform messages, inject errors/timeouts), rule creation from real traffic, build custom filter aliases, edit & resend intercepted requests, analyze HTTP compression & caching, docs for 2600+ APIs, import/export rules and traffic, export requests as code, advanced configuration (proxy port, HTTP versions, TLS settings, upstream proxies, custom OpenAPI specs, UI themes). Licensed to a single individual with transferrable licenses.
All Pro features plus centralized payment and account management. Contact HTTP Toolkit for details.
HTTP Toolkit is open-source so you can start free with the Hobbyist plan. No time-limited trial — the open-source plan is always free.
