About Vibgrate
What is Vibgrate?
Vibgrate is a code drift intelligence tool that scans your repositories to identify outdated dependencies, frameworks, and CVEs. It builds a graph of your codebase once, so your AI assistant doesn't re-read everything on every question, cutting token usage by over 40% with the same results.
Who is it for?
Vibgrate is for software engineering teams using AI coding assistants that need accurate, version-aware context. It's not for developers who work in single-file scripts or don't use AI assistants. It's especially useful for teams with large monorepos or microservices where dependencies drift quickly.
Real use cases
Use Vibgrate during code reviews to flag CNAs, before major upgrades to see what's drifted, or to teach your AI assistant the exact versions of React, Next.js, or Prisma in your stack. The free CLI generates a drift report in about 60 seconds and never reads your source code.
Key features
- Code Drift Report — See every outdated framework and dependency in your repo, with versions behind.
- CVE Flagging — Identifies known vulnerabilities in stale dependencies.
- AI Context Injection — Feeds version-correct context to your AI assistant, reducing errors.
- Free CLI Scan — Run a scan in ~60 seconds with no signup, no source code reading.
- Project Sizing — Automatically detects project size (nano, micro, small, standard) for fair billing.

Pay for What Drifts
Billed per 'billable project'. Projects are auto-sized into four tiers: Nano (1/25 of a project), Micro (1/10), Small (1/3), Standard (1). You only pay for projects you govern—excluded code (vendored, node_modules, test fixtures) is free. The total billable projects are rounded down, so 1.9 raw is billed as 1, and nine micro-projects cost nothing.
