About Flickcall
What is Flickcall?
Flickcall is a browser extension that lets you host watch parties on major streaming platforms like Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, JioHotstar, HBO Max, Hulu, YouTube, and more. It synchronizes video playback across participants and adds a built-in video chat and group chat, solving the problem of friends and family not being able to watch together remotely. Perfect for long-distance couples, families, or friends who want to binge-watch shows as if they were on the same couch.
Who is Flickcall for?
Flickcall is ideal for anyone who wants to watch streaming content together with others in real time, especially users in India and globally who need support for platforms like JioHotstar, JioCinema, Zee5, and SonyLIV. It is not for users who want a standalone streaming service or a platform with no video call feature—Flickcall’s core value is its combined sync and video chat.
How does Flickcall work?
Install the Flickcall extension from the Chrome Web Store (free), pin it to your toolbar, then start playing any supported video. Click the Flickcall icon to generate a party link. Share the link with friends—they join without any sign-up. The sync engine keeps everyone frame-perfect, even across episodes. A smart microphone automatically un-mutes when you pause the video, making conversation natural.
