About Password Find
What is Password Find?
Password Find is an online password recovery and removal service for Microsoft Office files. It helps you unlock password-protected Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and VBA projects. Instead of installing heavy software, you upload your file and the service does the work on powerful GPU farms.
What problem does it solve?
If you've forgotten a password to open or edit an Office file, or you need to remove read-only protection, Password Find offers a fast, easy solution. It supports files from MS Office 97-2003 (.xls, .doc, .ppt) and 2007-2019 (.xlsx, .docx, .pptx). Note: files created in 2007-2019 with 'password to open' have strong encryption; Password Find claims an 80% success rate for those, but 100% for older formats and many other protection types.
Who is it for?
Ideal for business professionals, IT admins, and everyday users who need to regain access to their own locked files. It's not for hacking others' files. The service works on Mac, Windows, Android, Unix, and iOS. Use cases include unprotecting a spreadsheet for editing, recovering a lost document password, or removing VBA project protection.

- No software install — Upload your file, select the approach, and download the decrypted file—no downloads or configuration.
