About Erase.bg
What is Erase.bg?
Erase.bg is an online AI background removal tool that detects foreground subjects (people, products, animals) and separates them from backgrounds automatically. It supports high-resolution images up to 10,000×10,000 px and video clips up to 30 seconds, exporting transparent PNGs or processed files. No manual masking or design skills are needed.
Who is it for?
It is built for e-commerce sellers creating product photos, designers needing quick cutouts for mockups, social media managers editing visuals on the fly, and real estate or car dealership professionals. It is not for users needing advanced image compositing, layered PSD exports, or offline-only tools without an internet connection.
Real use cases
Etsy sellers can photograph jewelry with a smartphone, then remove backgrounds to create clean listing images. eBay sellers can swap backgrounds to match category best practices. Marketing teams can batch-process product shots for ads or catalogs. Developers can integrate the API into custom workflows for automated image handling at scale.
